Who am I?

I am Maija Ritina, the first employee of smartist.one alongside Ersin and Liene, who both founded the company. I’ve spent more than 12 years abroad and lived in 4 different countries, and now I’m working in a place that feels just like home to me. 

What´s my role at smartist.one?

I work as a IT Recruitment Specialist and look for suitable candidates for the open positions that land on my desk. 

Why smartist.one?

I work here with my friends, which is a dream come true for me and incredibly fun! I also have the opportunity to work from home, which is super important to me.

What was the most special experience from your everyday recruiting life at smartist.one?

The best highlight in my day-to-day work is the feeling when I can tell a candidate: “Hey, you’ve got the job!” And then to hear the candidate’s reaction.

What I love to do after work?

I go to the gym and I’m passionate about cooking. The best combination! As someone who works in recruitment, I know it can be stressful at times, so it’s important to have a hobby that’s good for me.
