Who am I?
My name is Liene. Born in Latvia, raised in UK and Germany. I just love recruitment and am on a mission to humanize it.
What´s my role at smartist.one?
I am one of the creators of smartist.one and support my dear candidates on their way to new career highs. Let it be salary negotiation, interview preparation or a simple CV touch up. One happy candidate at the time. I also enjoy creating content around situations I experience on daily bases so that my network can profit from it.
Why smartist?
Because everyone deserves happiness at work. smartist is your friend when it comes to finding the right candidates or starting your job search journey. The team we have is fantastic. A bunch of friends who share the same values doing what they really like – recruitment. I cannot imagine a better working environment than that.
What was the most special experience from your everyday recruiting life at smartist.one?
When after 6 follow ups I reached the candidate, guided them through the application process and they got hired. They sent me the sweetest message afterwards saying that they appreciated my determination and have their dream-job now. The best feeling.
What I love to do after work?
Being outdoors, doing sports or reading self-development, growth-hacking, and psychology books. Exploring new coffee shops is something I truly enjoy.
