A friend of ours works as a Director of Business Development at a dynamic international technology company that has been in existence for over 18 years and provides high-quality software solutions for various industries. The position allows working with exciting national and international clients and finding a real professional home with long-term prospects.

Your tasks

  • You will develop and maintain detailed knowledge of the market, conduct lead generation and sales activities, with a focus on the financial and insurance sectors.
  • You will build close relationships within the DACH region.
  • You will generate sales by researching and identifying new contacts and leads, developing business development plans and market offerings, networking, using social media (e.g., LinkedIn), and participating in virtual and physical events for lead and opportunity generation.
  • You can imagine leading a small team of sales colleagues.
  • You will create compelling proposals and close deals.
  • You plan, prepare, and deliver presentations.
  • You will develop a geography strategy to increase the business pipeline.

You will enjoy this job if

  • You have several years of experience in business development/sales of financial or insurance services and solutions in project business.
  • You can demonstrate skills in contract management and negotiations.
  • You have a strong ability to understand financial structures and develop businesses from a financial perspective.
  • You have a consultative style, are comfortable with networking, and at the same time, want to help your colleagues.
  • You have very good German and English language skills.
